Jarvis Cocker is about to release his second solo album, entitled Further Complications. I have to admit I haven't really ever found myself deeply or remotely self indulging in any of his work, as a solo artist or in the band Pulp, but I have liked some of the songs I've heard, but they haven't prompted me to want to buy his work. Oh, my God, this album is above amazing; there are slow songs, loud songs, soft songs, ferocious songs on top of some really good lyrics. I'm in love, I'm definitely going to be purchasing this album, which hasn't yet been released, but you can hear the whole album on The Guardian's website. Expect to hear a lot more from this artist when the album is released, not just from me, but from many music magazines, reviews etc.
