In memory you live on



"Clothes and jewellery should be startling, individual. When you see a woman in my clothes, you want to know more about them. To me that is what distinguishes good designer from bad designers."

I've never really fully grasped the genius that was and will always be Alexander McQueen, but I've equally never found it hard to appreciate and admire his work as a piece of art. At present, I don't feel in any way educated in his work or personal life to comment on either aspects, but what I can say is that he truly was loved within the fashion industry and clearly outside of those realms.
