Scroll.

H&M's fall and winter campaign; how cool is the above image scroll by H&M? It has leaves falling and if you go on the actual webpage, the models hair and clothing items are blowing in the "wind"!! Haha...anyway I have to say the styling isn't too bad for a high street brand. I really like their mens line, but it somehow reminds me of Justin Bobby from The Hills. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

Oh, anyone a fan of ASOS.com? You can get 10% off all outlet items from now till the 14th of September, or you need to do is enter OUTLET at the checkout point.

Continuation

Photographer: Venetia Scott

This post links to my post about Margaret Howell's a/w 09 line. I couldn't wait to post these images; I recently saw Howell's a/w 09 women's wear campaign, featuring model Kim Noorda, who is also the face of Whistles a/w 09 campaign. I think Noorda looks amazing in each shot; I particularly like the one in which she is sitting on the floor, but they are all captivating. I've finally seen Howell's a/w 09 line for women and it's a bit of a let down in my opinion, but you can take a look for yourself, here.

COS a/w 09

Cardigan, £59. Top, £35. Bag, £129.
Mesh body, £29. Boots, £129. Leather shoes, £129.

I haven't felt like this, since I found out Gap was finally opening an online UK store. I was completely shocked when I found out that Birmingham has a Cos store, I've now gained an immense infatuation with the shop that should officially label me as 'sad'. I love their simplicity and the quality of their garments; when you touch them they can literally make you cry, especially that cable knit cardigan at the top and their shoes! I also have to add that I was pleasantly surprised with their prices, I feel like we're somehow getting a bargain. The online garments for men is not all bad but not as great as women's wear, sorry guys *cough* Mike.

Sweet disposition

Don't you just love life that tiny bit more, when a discount voucher appears from now where into the sweaty palms of your hand after finding the perfect garments from that store? I bought a black blazer and a waterfall cardigan, which I had to keep asking my sister whether it made me look like a mum. I also bought this amazing opaque glass mug, I literally ran home to make my first of many cups of tea in it. My twin sister has finally left the nest and is now at university away from home, it was a bitter sweet moment, to watch her depart as she begins her journey of independence, and self-development. A tiny glimpse of my life today.

My little sister has got me hooked to this song, hence blog entry title: The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition

Colourful Sirens

Bright cheerful colours for a change for a/w 09 by Kate Spade. I'd love to say all the above looks would suit me but I'm not even the colourful tights sort of person, let alone the polka dot skirt and zebra striped coat. My sister is more likely to wear the above clothes, since she and many other people can pull off orange tights and not look like they got dressed in the dark. Kate Spade's a/w 09 lookbook is inspirational for people who feel like getting out of the generic dark colours for winter and stand out above the crowd at the bus stop. I think I'm going to stick to my comfort zone, though I have been inspired.

Edit: I have to mention that there is this amazing silk polka dot blouse I can't stop eyeing.

Imitation

I don't If anyone else has seen the above drawings by Lauren who has a blog entitled Brids On The Wire, but I love the detail, the way in which she has drawn them and the images themselves. The first image on the left, I assume is entitled Yokoo dots, is based "on the photo's and knits of Yokoo." The secon image on right, I assume is entitled Yokoo hats and is based on the same concept as that of Yokoo dots. Fortunately, her talent isn't going to waste as she is studying illustration just like my sister, and I can only wish I had just as much talent as either of them.

How amazing does Arvida look?! I really like her 60s look, and her look in general. You rarely see photographers who are equally as good behind the camera as they are infront of it.
