It's called the Porcupine popover and it's by J.Crew.
You never see it coming.
I can't believe I've only just found out about Azede Jean-Pierre who designed the above collection for spring/summer: I'd like to see her autumn/winter collection!

Jean-Pierre has a cool and interesting blog, check it out here: http://uncouturier.blogspot.com/
Passing stranger.
Ha!

I like the above image of Emma Watson for Mexio's July 2011 edition of Top Magazine.

The above looks are from Steve Alan's Autumn/Winter collection: the whole collection looks like it could have been designed by Alexa Chung. The look with the cape is my favourite look, I also feel like getting a parka coat (they maybe the it coat, since they are light in weight).
One, two, three.
"My one terrible consolation is that my beloved has an undying, basically undeviating love for the institution of marriage itself. She has a primal urge to play house permanently. Her marital goals are so absurd and touching." -J.D.Salinger, Raise High The Roof Beam, Carpenters.
Belle
Escada design clothes for the refined in taste, older woman but there is a youthful element within some of their looks that I like. Though, when I say 'youthful' it's in reference to the mid-twenties.
The above images are a combination of their lookbook images and campaign images.
Sunday read:
I liked her more when I read: "She looks so now. But then she opens that mouth and all hell breaks loose. For starters, you'd better not call her an It girl."
Keeping it real.
I really like the above images: it's the simple looks plus the messy hair.
The top image on the left is from Vanidad's Summer 2011 lookbook. The top image on the right is from Jil Sander's Fall 2011 lookbook and the bottom two images are of Aymeline Valade for Russh magazine.
Thoughts.
"She is very clever, too clever for a woman. She lacks the indefinable charm of weakness." -Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray.
"We never keep to the present. We recall the past; we anticipate the future as if we found it too slow in coming and were trying to hurry it up, or we recall the past as if to stay its too rapid flight. We are so unwise that we wander about in times that do not belong to us, and do not think of the only one that does; so vain that we dream of times that are not and blindly flee the only one that is. The fact is that the present usually hurts. We thrust it out of sight because it distresses us, and if we find it enjoyable, we are sorry to see it slip away." -Blaise Pascal, Pensées.
"You want to live -but do you know how to live? You are scared of dying -and, tell me, is the kind of life you lead really any different from being dead?" -Seneca, Letters from a Stoic.
What have I been up to? I had my graduation; I then had to reluctantly give up my independence by moving out of my university halls to come back home. I've also been doing odd jobs for family friends; enjoying the unusual British weather and reading -hence the above quotes. I also felt like taking a break from blogging since it had become tedious and fashion itself had become the least important interest in my life.
